GRANITE STATE CREDIT UNION 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- A participant may elect to contribute to the Plan up to 100% of their eligible compensation subject to the limitations established by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
- Participants may elect to rollover distributions from other qualified retirement plans.
- Participants are allowed to make Roth contributions to the Plan.
- Effective January 1, 2014, the company adopted a safe harbor match.
- The match consisted of 100% of the participant’s elective deferrals that do not exceed 3% of the participant’s compensation plus 50% of the participant’s contributions between 3% and 5% of a participant’s compensation.
- The Company may elect to make discretionary nonelective employer contributions to the Plan which are allocated to participants based on a uniform percentage of participant compensation, as defined in the Plan agreement.
